TV ad Clips. A proposal for a TV campaign.
Olympians 4 is an animation in which paralympic atlethes photos are mixed with animation elements. I use animation as one medium in whith paralympic athletes can be the heroes or super heroes in different narratives video animations.
This work is a kind of choreographic interactive video on paralympic swimming competitions. Gestures and voices are repeated. Sometimes in the jumps and repetitions, movements have been reversed. And, this reversal is real and unreal as we are talking about cinema and metaphors. With the viewrs' interaction, the boundaries of the video are streched and the bodies of the athletes are transformed. Maybe through contemplating these gestures we can percieve differences and stretch out minds to new spaces and new perceptions.

For this work I decided to ask the athletes
Ester Rodriguez, Jesus Collado, Xavi Torres
a few questions about their social-political status
in society, and their situation inside the
sport arena. (2005)
Daniel Lamata is a five minute video,
about a bronze Olympic medallist in Sydney,
for which with his approval,I wrote a monologue as if I was him. (2004)
The athletes are the main charachter in my
mixed media animation. (2005)
